Maiffret is credited with discovering some of the first major vulnerability discoveries in Microsoft software and leads Beyond Trust's Advanced Research Labs, responsible for identifying new trends in enterprise security for the benefit of the Beyond Trust product roadmap. Maiffret left e Eye for a three-year period, during which he served as Chief Security Architect at Fire Eye. He returned to e Eye in July 2010.
