Cerb, also known as Cerb6, is a fast and flexible web-based platform for business collaboration and automation, developed in the United States. This proprietary, paid software, built on a LAMP stack requiring PHP 5.3+ and MySQL 5+, is available across Mac, Windows, and Linux platforms. It enables users to remember information about anyone, collaborate from anywhere, efficiently manage email, automate tasks, stay informed, capture feedback, track time, identify opportunities, manage tasks, and share resources. Key features include real-time collaboration and the ability to suggest and vote on new functionalities. A significant update in version 5.3, released in January 2011, incorporated over 103 improvements driven by community feedback, such as multi-location workspace displays, autocomplete choosers for faster data entry, 'peek' popups for mail conversation previews, comprehensive call logging for incoming and outgoing phone calls, and a Feed Reader to track actionable items from RSS feeds, blog comments, forum posts, and wiki changes. This version also enhanced the system by allowing attachments to be added to comments and the knowledgebase, and by extending worklist, copy, and explore functionalities to a wider range of record types.
