Dremel
About
Dremel is a multinational brand of power tools, founded in 1932 in Racine, Wisconsin, U.S., and now headquartered in Mt. Prospect, Illinois. The company is primarily known for its rotary tools, including the Dremel 3000, 4000, and 8200 series, which are similar to pneumatic die grinders used in metalworking. Dremel's product portfolio has expanded to include butane tools, benchtop and hand-held saws, and oscillating tools, all focusing on home improvement and hobby applications. In 1993, Dremel was acquired by Robert Bosch GmbH and currently operates as a division of the Robert Bosch Tool Corporation.
