Dunkin'
About
Dunkin', originally known as Dunkin' Donuts, is an American multinational coffee and doughnut company, operating as a quick service restaurant. Founded by Bill Rosenberg in Quincy, Massachusetts, it began as Open Kettle in 1948 before being formally established as Dunkin' Donuts in 1950. Headquartered in Canton, MA, United States, Dunkin' is a subsidiary operating within the food and beverage, coffeehouse, and franchising industries. A significant milestone in its history was its acquisition by Baskin-Robbins' holding company Allied Lyons in 1990, an event that, coupled with the conversion of the Mister Donut chain, greatly propelled its growth across North America.
