Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) is an Indian public sector undertaking in the petroleum and natural gas industry, headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Founded on 5 July 1952, HPCL operates as a public subsidiary of the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), which is wholly owned by the Government of India and administered under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. The company reported a significant revenue of  468,811 crore (US$55 billion) in 2025.
