NetScaler, a line of networking products owned by Cloud Software Group, was initially developed in 1997 by Michel K Susai in Santa Clara, California. It was acquired by Citrix Systems in 2005, which later consolidated all its networking products under the NetScaler brand in 2016. Operating in the Networking industry, NetScaler offers a comprehensive product portfolio including NetScaler (an application delivery controller), NetScaler App Firewall (an application firewall), NetScaler Unified Gateway, NetScaler Application Delivery Management (ADM), and NetScaler SD-WAN for software-defined wide-area networking management. On September 30, 2022, following Citrix's privatization and merger with TIBCO Software, NetScaler was established as a private business unit under the Cloud Software Group, with its headquarters in San Jose, California, U.S.
