The All India Motor Transport Congress (AIMTC) is an apex body of transporters serving the industry since 1936, representing approximately 95 lacs truckers and 50 lacs bus and tourist operators. It is a non-political and not-for-profit organization and an umbrella body of more than 3500 taluka, district, state level federations and transport associations. AIMTC maintains liaison with the government to promote development of road network and infrastructure facilities.
